About My Blog:
Nuts about Letters? Hmm... weird. Yes, perhaps.  Allow me to explain.

1) I've tried blogging, journaling, scrap booking, etc. to keep up with my children's memories, but failed miserably at all of them.  About a year ago (2010) I started writing letters instead.  I give them advice, write silly things they've said and done, I lecture them, I tell them how great they are.  So far, it's worked great!!  I keep the letters on this blog to stay organized so I can turn them into a book at the end of every year.  It's also a great way for grandparents to see what's going on in our crazy lives.

2) I teach preschool out of my home and the main focus is getting the children reading before Kindergarten.  That involves letters.  Lots and lots of letters.  I really enjoy what I do and I hope you'll be able to get a few ideas (or give ME some) for your little ones.  I write to the preschool parents on this blog to update them on our weekly happenings and it helps me remember what we've done.

3) During the three years my husband and I dated we wrote more than 300 letters to each other.  I cherish every single one and on days when I want to slap him in the face (I would never do that!) I read those letters and remember how incredibly amazing he is.  I think letters are a great way to express yourself and I love giving and receiving them.

So in a nutshell this is a blog about memories... in letters.

NOTE:  All content prior to 2011 is imported from a previous blog.  I'm in the process of converting all prior blog posts into letters.
